There’s something tender and extraordinary about being human.
We carry so much—memories, hopes, fears, stories we don’t always know how to tell. No two people are the same, and yet so many of us share a quiet ache: to feel seen, to feel safe, to know that we matter.
Shelley
In my own journey, I’ve spent time in many different spaces—research libraries, universities, respite care, and women’s shelters. I’ve supported scientists, students, children, and survivors. I’ve taught gymnastics. I’ve taught in classrooms. I am a mother and a grandmother. And through it all, one truth has stayed with me:
We need to know ourselves. We need to believe in our worth. And we need space to heal the parts of us that feel unsure, hidden, or forgotten.
Most people don’t come to counselling just to figure out “what to do.” They come because something hurts because life feels overwhelming or disconnected, and because they long for clarity, hope, or a way forward that feels true to who they are.
And that’s what this work is about—creating space to be curious, listen inwardly, and gently uncover what you need to move toward a life that feels more connected and meaningful.
Choose you.
If you're ready to take a step toward healing, reconnection, or simply being heard, I’d be honoured to meet you there.
Send me an email, and we can talk about what your needs are.
